Dr. Z worked closely with our younger son from high school into his early college years, and also supported our older son and tutored our daughter as well. He did much more than help with homework — he helped them build real executive-function skills like planning ahead, staying organized, managing deadlines, and following through. Over time, we saw real growth in their independence and ability to handle demanding workloads without getting overwhelmed. Our daughter has since gone on to complete her master's degree, and we're very grateful for the steady support Dr. Z provided during those important academic years. We worked with Dr. Z for many years, beginning in middle school and continuing into college. Early on, our son struggled with organization, accountability, and independence, which made school stressful for him and for us as a family. Dr. Z helped him develop practical systems for planning, organization, and follow-through, and explained concepts in a way that really matched how he learns. He also provided ongoing executive-function coaching and mentorship, helping our son think through challenges, regulate stress, and make thoughtful academic decisions independently. That change alone reduced a great deal of daily stress and tension around school. As these skills improved, so did his academic performance. After earning mostly B's earlier on, he earned straight A's for two consecutive years in high school. He was accepted to Loyola Marymount University with a substantial merit-based scholarship, did very well his first semester, and continues to manage his responsibilities independently and confidently. Looking back, working with Dr. Z was one of the best investments we made in our son's education and development. We are deeply grateful for the lasting impact he's had on our son and our family.

Dr. Zerounian (Henry) has been extremely helpful for our middle-school child. He works best with students who are bright but struggling to perform consistently, especially when standard tutoring hasn't been effective. His approach goes beyond homework help and focuses on understanding why a student is stuck, including executive-function skills like organization and follow-through. We saw meaningful improvement and would highly recommend him.
